Another year, another “holiday” song.
Once again we contributed an original song to the annual Suburban Sprawl Holiday Compilation. Our contribution is titled, “December 25, 1967.” It’s available for free along with 39 other holiday themed tracks right here.
Luke Hartley once again did a fantastic job putting a beautiful visual to our music. Without further adieu, we present Labrador (lyrics) from Our Manderley.
You can now purchase physical merchandise from our Bandcamp page. We created a bunch of bundles featuring posters, vinyl, CDs, beer, etc… Take a look, buy something, get some free downloads for your trouble.
On Saturday (July 16, 2011) we once again spent a hot summer day in a non-air conditioned space playing the same song over and over while Luke Hartley’s camera captured every nuanced moment at 60 frames per second.
Of course, that was only a small portion of the work involved in releasing the music video for Labrador. Luckily, while Luke is slaving away in Final Cut Pro you can snatch a glimpse of some stills captured during Saturday’s shoot. Browse over yonder: Labrador Shoot, Part 1
Like, follow, or subscribe to hear from us when the video is released. In the meantime, check out Luke and The Bell Beat’s first music video, Call Me the Fool.

Before our WMTU/Orpheum Theater show in Houghton, MI we recorded a live session for Mostly Midwest. It’s part of their ongoing video series called Bridgehouse Sessions. It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable times we’ve had as a band… Please, check out all their sessions, show photos’, etc… Because Mostly Midwest are some good people.
